Karen Dodge is one of the very few female burn survivors practicing law in America today.

Since becoming a member of the bar in 1999, Karen's practice has always been focused on the representation of burn survivors. Born in Grosse Point, Michigan, Karen was severely injured in a "coffee-burn" accident when she was two years old. Her family moved to Beverly Hills, California soon after. Karen is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles and of the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, where she received the Top First Year Student Award.

Karen has been part of the legal burn community since 1990 and has devoted all of her energy to the representation of burn survivors and their families. Karen is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Of California and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.

Since 2004, Karen has been a Board Member of Directors of the Children's Burn Foundation, in conjunction with the world-famous Grossman Burn Center, located in Sherman Oaks, California.
